Skyler Flora, Truckee HS, continues to rack up impressive stats by winning the 2012 Reed HS XC Invitational.

After finishing in the top 5 in the Nevada Twilight XC, 2nd in the Stanford XC Invitational in the respective classification, and now claiming the destintion of TOP DOG in the Reed XC Invitational, Skyler has a bullseye on her back in any of the upcoming races she enters.

It is going to be interesting to see when Skyler meets up with another underclassmen, and front runner, Elko HS, Shelbi Dorsa in a head to head competition.  

Both runners exhibit ice in their veins and while Shelbie beat Skyler in the Nevada Twilight, the higher level of competition week in and week out in Northern California and Western Nevada will only help Skyler in the show down that is about to happen.

It is going to be a train reck, a high noon show down at OK Coral.  You pick your favorite.

It is beyond bringing just pop corn to watch..  The match up deserves more.  I'm going to bring licorice.
