It is October 02, 2012 in Sparks, NV.. and still the outside temperature sits at 95 degrees.

I took this picture from Baring Blvd outside the chain link fence that enclosed the football field parking lot.

As for the 2012 Reed XC Invitational.. most notably missing Galena HS and Elko HS.  What's with that?

NOTE:  I embellished the picture by adding the "CONTROLLED BURN" logo in the empty space ..YES it was .. toasty!
